Acting and Music together for Kevin - 2007-09-27
Kevin Costner made the perfect match, performing with his rock band for the extras joined for the movie. Costner’s band Modern West played in front of 1,000 fans at the Santa Fe Rodeo Grounds in New Mexico, thanking extras who appeared for his new film Swing Vote. The Oscar winner's group gave a free show.
Kevin will help the College World Series at Omaha - 2007-08-23
Kevin Costner will make TV commercials to keep the College World Series at Omaha's Rosenblatt Stadium. An organizer for the group Jason Smith, called Save Rosenblatt, said that an Omaha film crew will fly next week to New Mexico, where Costner is currently filming his comedy “Swing Vote.” The actor has previously shared his will of helping Omaha keep the CWS at Rosenblatt Stadium, if that’s what the community wants. Smith said the Tv spots will probably show Costner talking about the tradition of Rosenblatt.
